Current table leaders Police suffered a shock 1-0 defeat away to Blacks Power at the Akii Bua stadium in Lira city on Sunday evening.
This was Police’s second loss of the campaign as they remain leaders with 44 points off 22 matches played.
Second placed Kataka was held to a 1-all home draw by visiting Kaaro Karungi at Mbale city stadium.
Kataka has fetched 41 points, off 23 matches played.
In other matches, Onduparaka edged Lugazi Football Club 1-0 in Arua city, climbing to 5th on the log with 38 points.
Mbale Heroes overcame Calvary 2-1 at the Mbale City Stadium for their 10th victory of the campaign in 23 outings.
The surgeons now have 40 points, same as Lugazi who has played 22 games.
Elsewhere, Kigezi Home Boyz humbled visiting Jinja North United 3-0 at the Kabale Municipal stadium whilst Kyetume won 4-1 against Booma at Nakisunga ssaza playground.
Three clubs will be promoted directly to the 2024-2025 StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
