FUFA through its Competitions Department has confirmed the date and venue for this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup final.

The development comes after the two finalists Kitara FC and NEC FC were confirmed over the weekend.

In a statement released by Aisha Nalule, the FUFA Competitions Director, the final will be played on Saturday, 25th May 2024 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

The final of the prestigious knockout competition will come shortly after the end of the Uganda Premier League.

It should be noted that in recent years, the final has been held on a rotational basis across all the eight regions of FUFA.

For instance, last year, Vipers SC edged Police FC in the final at Akii Bua Stadium in Lira, Northern Region.

To reach this year’s final, Kitara FC overcame Pajule Lions 4-1 on aggregate in the semifinals.

On the other hand, NEC FC eliminated BUL FC to reach the final.
