Overview:
Omar Selli returns to serve in the Masaza Cup competition having previously served in the same capacity at Gomba Ssaza in 2019.
As the different teams prepare for the kick off of the 2024 Buganda Masaza Football Championship, the management of Mawogola Ssaza has confirmed the entire coaching staff.
One key addition is that of Turkish national Omar Selli as the technical director.
Selli, a CAF “B” licence holder boosts the team that also has Fred Kasekende as head coach.
Kasenkende is retained as the head coach for the second year running.

Patrick Musoni is first assistant coach whilst former Mawogola Ssaza player Amir Musoke is second assistant coach.
Tonny Kintu Ssenabulya is goalkeeping coach with Gonzaga Ssentongo as sporting director.
Shaqibu Sekisonge is the team doctor as confirmed by the chairperson of the management committee, Jozito Kizito Senfuka.

Mawogola eyes an improved performance from last season where they failed to qualify past the group stages.
Telecommunication company, Airtel Uganda sponsors this annual championship which bars national team players as well as those in the Uganda Premier League and FUFA Big League.
