Overview:
Defending champions of the tournament Bulemeezi are in the same group (Bulange) as Buddu, Kyadondo, Buluuli, Butambala and Bugerere. Five time champions Gomba are in the same pool as Buweekula, Ssingo, Kyaggwe, Mawogola and Kooki in Muganzirwazza group. Masengere group has Mawokota, Buvuma, Kabula, Busujju, Ssese and Busiro.
The 2024 Buganda Masaza football championship is ear-marked to kick off by late June.
The groups for all 18 teams were confirmed during a special meeting convened at Bulange, Mengo – Kampala on Wednesday, 29th May 2024.
The meeting was graced by the Buganda Kingdom minister of sports and arts, Owek. Ssalongo Robert Sserwanga.
Sulaiman Ssejjengo, the chairperson of the Masaza cup organizing committee also convened a successful meeting for team officials as they passed the new rules and regulations for the tournament.
