Kenya Rugby’s veterans under the Legends by Nondies (Nondescripts RFC) franchise will tour Uganda in June 2024. The main event of this tour will be a match against Uganda’s rugby legends and veterans.
The match will be played at Kings Park, Bweyogerere on Saturday, June 8, 2024. It will kick off at 4 p.m. local time (EAT).
The travelling squad comprises veterans and recently retired players from Nondescripts RFC, the Kenya Simbas, and other local Kenyan rugby clubs. Uganda’s team comprises a similar composition of long-retired Rugby Cranes and veterans from the local rugby clubs.
This will be the Legends by Nondies’ second tour of Uganda. In May 2023, they dominated the headline match at Kyadondo by 38-06 points. Uganda’s veterans and legends toured Kenya in September last year. They also lost that match by 31-12 points at RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
