Governance: Uganda Lacrosse Association elects 2024-2029 executive committee

The Uganda Lacrosse Association (ULA) has instituted in a place a permanent executive committee for the tenure 2024-2029.

This happened during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Machame restaurant in Naguru, Kampala city on Saturday, 15^th June 2024.

The five-year tenure commenced immediately in June 2024 and will climax by 2029.

Liberty Twesiime is the president. He is deputized by Ruth Lucy Atim.

The major aim is restoration of the working relationship with our international federation World Lacrosse and restore trust of all our stakeholders and development partners to continue salvaging the opportunities that come with playing lacrosse in the international games.

Douglas Nyakaana is general secretary with Sarah Nakate as the vice general secretary.

The treasurer of the association is Owen Isingoma.

Other positions:

Milton Akiobua and Collins Odiira are in charge of sponsorship and marketing.

The development directors elected were; Faizal Nsubuga, Isaac Mutebi, Lillian Namaganda, Patricia Linda Kemigisha and Manshur Mubarak.

The advisory board has Dr Johnson Ssekakubo and Richard Akena.

Uganda Lacrosse Association is on a steady-fast road to recovering their positive working relations with the global mother body, World Lacrosse.

Recently, the national lacrosse league was successfully completed.
