Match two of the 2024 Buganda Masaza football championship continues on Sunday, 7th July with eight games at various venues.

Defending champions Bulemeezi, one of the home sides beaten on the opening match day will play away at Bugerere in Ntenjeru.

Bulemeezi lost 0-1 to Buluuli during the official opening match of the tournament at their Kasana fortress.

Against Bugerere, they face another beaten team on the match day one having fallen 0-1 away at Kyadondo last week.

Meanwhile, record champions Gomba under Frank Mulindwa make the trip to the Mityana Ssaza grounds to face Ssingo in a cracker of sorts.

Ssingo is being handled by celebrated Masaza cup winner Simon Peter Mugerwa.

2022 champions Busiro is also on the road to Buwama where they face three time champions Mawokota.

Busiro lost 0-1 to Busujju on match day one whilst Mawokota only worked for a point in their  away duel against islanders Buvuma.

Buddu, 0-1 losers away at Butambala last week host Kyadondo at the Kitovu Arena.

Other matches:

The other games on the menu shall witness Busujjju against Kabula at the Kakindu playground, along Mityana road.

Meanwhile, Buluuli shall play host to Butambala at the Kakooge playground.

Meanwhile, 2007 winners Kooki entertains Buwekula at the Rakai PTC playground whilst Kyaggwe will lock horn against Mawogola at Mukono Bishops playground.

On Saturday, 6th July 2024, two Island counties Ssese and Buvuma shared the spoils, 1-all at the Lutoboka playground.

Muhammad Sabil gave Ssese the lead at the advent of the second half before an equalizer from Brian Henry Katamba.

Ssese’s Jordan Ariaka was named man of the match, taking home a plaque.
