In 2022, the men’s Rugby Africa Cup semifinals featured Namibia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Algeria. The tournament was played outside the continent in the South of France, despite protests from the rugby community in Africa.

The 2024 edition of the tournament will, for the second successive year, feature the same teams with the same matchups.

Namibia will face Zimbabwe and Kenya will face Algeria. But this time, it will be on African soil.

The semifinals will be played from 2 p.m. local time (EAT) on Wednesday afternoon at the Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku in Kampala, Uganda.

Burkina Faso, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, and hosts Uganda who all lost the quarterfinals are not out of the tournament though. They will continue in the Placement matches during the morning session.

Senegal will take on Côte d’Ivoire at 10 a.m. local time (EAT) before Uganda faces Burkina Faso at 12 p.m.

All matches will be broadcast live on Kawowo Sports’ YouTube Channel.
