Wakiso Giants FC have confirmed the signing of budding striker Hudson Mbalire on a three-year deal.
The lanky forward joins the Purple Sharks from Kampala Regional League outfit CATDA after a successful 2023-24 season.
Mbalire netted 11 goals for the Lufula based side and also had good performances with Kyambogo University in the University Football League.
Currently, Mbalire is playing for Buddu in the Buganda Masaza Cup.
He comes in as a direct replacement for Kenneth Kimera who recently joined Vipers SC.
Mbalire becomes the fourth signing for Wakiso Giants, joining Zambian winger Erick Kabamba, Vincent Zziwa and Derrick Kaija.
Wakiso Giants will play a friendly game with Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar on Saturday 10th August at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
