Corporate Boxing Bout:

The highly anticipated Corporate boxing bout between two celebrities; socialite Shakib Lutaaya and media personality JK Kazoora will take place on Saturday, 12th October 2024 at the NCS Indoor Arena, Lugogo in Kampala.
This bout, sponsored by Bwinbet Uganda, will be part of the menu for the Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) Champions League on the day.
Both fighters have already expressed readiness to battle each other in a bid to spread the boxing sport to more corporates.
“I am ready to face my younger brother Shakib Lutaaya in the three rounds of Corporate boxing. The idea is very key to growing this sport. Boxing as a sport is very unique. Boxers are very, very disciplined persons. I have a special love for boxing. I want to leave a mark. I am into boxing. Local fighters earn little money during fights and I believe this should improve,” said Kazoora.
Kazoora spoke of the push factor ahead of this Corporate fight bout against Shakib.
“The fight with Shakib is not about money but also for health purposes. I have been training well and so is Shakib,” Kazoora added.
Shakib Lutaaya, the hubby to outspoken socialite Zarinah “Zari The Boss Lady” Hassan hints that the decision to take on boxing was one way of fighting depression, applauding Moses Muhangi, the president of Uganda Boxing Federation for the encouragement.
“I thank the Uganda Boxing Federation president Mr Moses Muhangi for advising me to take on boxing seriously as a way of fighting depression. I am very fit because I have been training well and ready for the contest,” Lutaaya hinted.
The fight promoters (Bwinbet Uganda) are more than ready to leave a mark on local boxing.
“We want to promote boxing. Betting is not for mafias. We do corporate services and also pay taxes,” Bwinbet Uganda official stated.
This will be a three-round bout, with each round lasting for three minutes and a break of two minutes.
