As early as 7 am, participants from various companies laced up their running shoes, united by a shared commitment to maternal health and safety.

Before flag off, there was a limbering (warm-up) session for all the participants at the Dove stadium (St Cyprian Kihangire SS playground).
Accompanied by a traffic bike official and a fully equipped Ambulance, the runners aggressively embarked on the 5KM run around Luzira town much to the delight of the on-lookers.
“We are deeply grateful to all the participants who joined us on this journey. Together, we reaffirm that no mother should die while giving life. Your enthusiastic involvement and generous contributions will help create safer, more accessible mama kits for expectant mothers in the Northern and Eastern regions. A special thank you goes to our partners, whose contributions were instrumental in making this event a success. Your support not only helped organize this run but also raised crucial awareness for expectant mothers in our community.” Ian Rumanyika, the CEO of Corporate Games remarked.
