Overview:

This year, USSSA organized a number of domestic competitions right from the districts through to zones and national level in all the indoor and outdoor sports disciplines.

The 42nd Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) annual general assembly will take place on Saturday, 7th December 2024 at the GNS Plaza in Mengo, Kampala.

Justus Mugisha, the president of USSSA will steer this assembly as head alongside members of the Executive Committee and the delegates.

The convention is expected to draw over 100 participants from across the country.

All the five regions of Uganda will be represented by delegates at this assembly; three persons per region with five delegates each representing the 19 zones.

This is the parliament of schools’ sports where key decisions are taken to help shape the direction of sports in secondary schools’ institutions.

Also, the activity report for the 2024 season will be reviewed with important resolutions and suggestions outlined by the delegates concerned.

Most importantly, the projected budget for the forthcoming 2025 season as well as the competitions calendar in the new year will be revealed.

This year, USSSA organized a number of domestic competitions right from the districts through to zones and national level in all the indoor and outdoor sports disciplines.

Different teams also represented the country in a number of international competitions.
