The round of 64 for the 51st Stanbic Uganda Cup continued on Friday, 24th January 2025 at various venues.
Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club qualified to the round of 32 at the expense of Northeast region based 403 Brigade with a 2-0 victory under very hot weather conditions.
Arafat Kiza Usama scored a brace in the game played at the St Daniel Comboni SS playground in Napak district.

The first goal arrived after 20 minutes; thanks to an assist from Derrick Nsibambi.
Seven minutes later, Usama curled home after James Mubezi’s assist.
Nsibambi had a would be third goal for KCCA disallowed for an off-side call in the 65th minute.
In other games on the same day, Mabira TC ejected FUFA Big League side Ntugasaze 1-0 at the Nyakasura playground in Fort Portal.
Rwenzori Lions dumped out another FUFA Big League entity Busoga United 2-1 at the Airline ground in Bwera.
Bugoigo Leopards outsmarted Booma 1-0 at the Bugoigo Park courtesy of Ivan Adubango’s goal.
In Yumbe district, home side Total defeated visiting Arua Hill 2-0 at the Swinga Stadium.

Marched to round of 32:
10 time winners Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Rwenzori Lions, Bugoigo Leopards, Mabira TC and Total are all through to the round of 32.
Other earlier qualified clubs:
There are a number of qualified clubs that made it to the round of 32. These include the current cup holders Kitara, 10 time champions Express, 9 time winners Sports Club Villa, Express, BUL, Vipers, Simba, CATDA, Pakwach Young Stars, Police, Mbarara City, Lugazi Football Club, Wakiso Giants, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF), Maroons, Soltilo Bright Stars, Gaddafi and last year’s losing finalists NEC,
Bushenyi Veterans and Blacks Power could also book their berths to the round of 32 via boardroom decisions after their respective opponents failed to honour their games.
Onduparaka failed to travel to Bushenyi for their contest against Bushenyi Veterans whilst Blacks Power reported to Soroti for their match with Soroti Thunders who turned up at another venue.
