Amus College School female footballers

Overview:

As per the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Examinations (UCE), all the students registered, 146 passed superbly in grade one.

The balance between sporting excellence and education brilliance is now the norm for Amus College School.

The reigning boys’ football FEASSA champions is once again the talk of town with an overwhelming 100% performance in the 2024 O-level examinations.

As per the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Examinations (UCE), all the students registered, 146 passed superbly in grade one.

Performance per subject:

English and History recorded the most A scored; 25 apiece.

Seventeen (17) A’s were registered for Entrepreneurship and 14 for agriculture.

The other A scores were scored in the subjects of Art (8), mathematics (5), Biology (5), Physics (2), Project (2), Geography (1) and Ateso (1) making a whooping total of 105 A’s.

English had the most B scores (88) out of the 681 total B’s.

Amus College School has become a national force both in education and sports.

Football (boys and girls), basketball (boys and girls), netball and athletics are core games played at the school brilliantly.

The women football team also plays in the national super league with the boy’s side featuring in the regional league (third division).

The First Lady who also doubles as the Minister of Education and Sports officially released the results at State House Nakasero on Tuesday, 11th February 2025.

According to the report from the ministry, the females dominated English language, Christian Religious Education as well as Art and Design.

The male candidates did well in history and political education, geography, mathematics, agriculture, chemistry and biology.
