Despite a straight sets loss (25-20, 25-17, 25-15) to Rwandan side APR, Uganda’s Sport-S advanced to the semifinals of the Zone V Volleyball Championship.
APR tops Pool B unbeaten and will face KCB Nkumba in the semifinals while Sport-S will battle tournament favourites Pipeline of Kenya.
The two matches will be played on Sunday evening at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.
