Uganda Premier League | Fixture
- Mbarara City vs Bright Stars – Mbarara, 4 PM
- KCCA vs Mbale Heroes – Lugogo, 7 PM
KCCA FC is desperate to end their poor run in the Uganda Premier League as they host struggling Mbale Heroes at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
Winless in their last six matches, tension is high at Lugogo, and only a victory can restore parity and provide hope for their frustrated fans.
KCCA has suffered three defeats and managed three draws in their previous six outings. Their last win came against Wakiso Giants on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Speaking ahead of the match, KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru emphasized the importance of returning to winning ways.
“We are ready for the game against Mbale Heroes. It is very important for us to get back to winning ways,” he said.
“This will boost the confidence and belief of the team and all stakeholders. We want to do everything possible to make our fans happy again. Our poor run has affected us, but everyone is working hard to get back on track,” he added.
KCCA will be without Steven Munguchi, Ettiene Katenga, and Hassan Muhamud, who have been ruled out due to injuries.
Meanwhile, Mbale Heroes are equally desperate for points as they sit at the bottom of the table with only 10 points from 18 games.
