· UPDF FC Vs KCCA FC, Bombo Military Barracks Ground (4:00pm) Live on FUFA TV & Sanyuka Prime TV.
· Mbale Heroes FC Vs Lugazi FC, Mbale City Stadium (4:00pm)
· Express FC Vs Police FC, Hamz Stadium-Nakivubo (7:00pm) Live on FUFA TV & Sanyuka Prime TV
Express will hope to return to winning ways with immediate effect when they host Police at Hamz stadium on Thursday.
The seven-time champions were stunned by newly promoted Lugazi in their last outing, a few days after seeing off Wakiso Giants in an emphatic 4-1 win.
Badru Kaddu’s men will be favourites coming into this game but will be wary of the Cops side who despite sitting just a place above relegation have proved a tough nut to crack.
The 2005 league champions have lost just five league matches this season – only table leaders Vipers (1), NEC (2) and BUL (3) have lost less although they have won just three all season.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s side fell to Vipers in their last outing but he wants to build on the performance.
“Yes, we lost to Vipers but our performance was very good and we want to build on that and convert the chances we created,” he told the media.
The reverse fixture ended in a 2-2 draw with Police getting a late equaliser courtesy of Isaac Ogwang penalty kick.
However, Police are winless against the Red Eagles since a 6-1 victory in 2020 at Lugogo.
In other league matches, KCCA visit UPDF at Bombo while Lugazi are away to Mbale Heroes.
