SC Villa piled more misery on relegation-candidates Soltilo Brights Stars FC on Friday, condemning them to another loss.
In what has been a challenging campaign for the Kawempe based side, every passing game seems to draw them to the relegation reality.
And today was not any different as the Ian Mutendi-coached side suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of the Jogoos.
Aslam Ssemakula gave Villa the lead just after nine minutes, scoring from a corner kick delivery.
In the 20th minute, Charles Lwanga doubled the lead for the visitors, thanks to a neat lay up by Frank Mulimi.
Nelson Ssenkatuka was able to pull one back for the hosts in the 40th minute but this only served as a consolation goal.
In the second half, Patrick Jonah Kakande put the icing on the cake, getting Villa’s third in the 64th minute.
The result takes SC Villa to 9th place on 27 points while Soltilo Bright Stars FC remain second from bottom on 12 points with ten games to play.
