  • Kaaro Karungi vs UPDF – Kyamatte 3pm
  • URA vs Kataka – Nakivubo 3pm
  • Vipers SC vs Blacks Power – Kitende 7pm

URA coach Alex Isabirye has warned his charges against getting complacent when they host Kataka in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The two sides face off in the round of 16 with a quarter final spot at stake as the tax men aim to join fellow top tier sides SC Villa, Police, KCCA, BUL and holders Kitara in the next draw.

Kataka are in the Fufa Big League but Isabirye, a cup winner with URA, BUL and Vipers is aware of the threat they can pose.

“There is not much difference between them and us because we are all at this stage,” said Isabirye. “In the recent past, we saw Proline win the Uganda Cup so we can’t take them for granted,” he added.

Without a chance to win the premier league where they are several points behind leaders Vipers, all eyes are on the Uganda Cup for silverware this campaign.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, UPDF visit Kaaro Karungi at Kyamate in Ntungamo while Vipers are at home against another Fufa Big League side Blacks Power at Kitende in a late kick off.
