St Andrea Kaahwa College School duo receive Alexo 2025 awards

Aldrine Alele, an S6 student finished with six goals to his name to finish as top scorer. Joseph Goalkeeper Anyeko in S.5 completed the championship with an impressive 5 clean sheets and got the golden gloves.

The Hoima City Secondary Schools Football Competitions, which concluded at Booma Grounds witnessed St. Andrea Kaahwa’s College School Hoima students excel in the boys’ football category.

Aldrine Alele, a forward and goalkeeper Joseph Anyeko received their awards as top scorer and best goalkeeper respectively.

Alele, an S6 student finished with six goals to his name to finish as top scorer.

He received the golden boot courtesy of George Ssekaaba, forward plying his trade with Uganda Premier League entity, Kitara Football Club.

He also got playing boots from Alexo Soccer boots who is also a CEO Alexo Soccer Academy Duhaga.

Joseph Anyeko receives the golden gloves from Chrispus Kusiima

Goalkeeper Anyeko in S.5 completed the championship with an impressive 5 clean sheets and got the golden gloves from Kitara FC and Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima.

He also received a set of goalkeeper’s gloves from Alexo Soccer boots.

In addition, they also received scholastic materials from Sports Man Ismail Kasule Owensonga who was represented by Twaibu.

Alexo hands over the award to sharp forward Aldrine Alele

The duo’s exceptional skills played a crucial role in St. Andrea’s Kaahwa’s College School’s victory, defeating St. Peters High School 3-1.

In this match, Alele scored a hat-trick to seal victory for the champions.

The two players will be important pillars for St Andrea Kaahwa College during the Kitara regional championships that will sieve the best schools to qualify for the 2025 nationals in Ngora district come May.
