Allan Kabonge Kivewala

Allan Kabonge Kivewala has been named as head coach of Arua Hill Sports Club, a FUFA Big League side.

The department comes barely 24 hours after the management of Arua Hill Sports Club had communicated the parting ways with former head coach Robert Omony alongside his entire technical team.

“Allan Kabonge is our new head coach” a club statement read.

“He starts work with immediate effect” it added.

Kabonge has been unemployed since being sacked by Gaddafi a fortnight ago (he was replaced by Robert “Kiyenje” Mukasa).

He joins the Gulu based entity who have blown hot and cold this season with just four wins in 17 matches.

Arua Hill Sports Club has drawn twice and lost 11 games; accumulating 14 points (bottom placed on the 15 team log).

Therefore, Kabonge’s work at hand is to ensure that the club survives the looming relegation monster as the final bend of the season fast approaches.

The FUFA Big League has 15 clubs. The top three will automatically earn slots to the Star Times Uganda Premier League with the bottom four relegated to the respective regional leagues.
