Vipers co-head coach Fred Muhumuzza has fired back at his counter part at NEC, Hussein Mbalangu as the two teams prepare to face off in a highly anticipated top of the table clash on Thursday.
Mbalangu has been vocal and animated since last week when his side overcame Kitara at Lugogo stating that they will go to Kitende and win.
“We shall go there and beat him (Vipers),” he stated before swearing his name. “I am Hussein Mbalangu, Men.”
In reply, the soft spoken Muhumuzza who usually takes over touchline duties warned.
“The game has been hyped but it’s a game like any other Uganda Premier League game,” he started.
“We know a lot has been said, but the game of football is a practical one.”
The gaffer also revealed what the coaching staff has concentrated since their draw with Express in the last game.
“We have worked on the mentality, character of the players and good enough, we have the players that have been there before and know what it takes to play in these closing games.”
