KCCA FC interim head coach Jackson Magera is aware of the threat posed by Kataka ahead of his side’s first leg clash in the semi-final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Kataka has eliminated two premier league sides URA and Police in the previous round which makes them good candidates to shock the Kasasiro as well.

“At this stage, we can’t take any team for granted,” said Magera. “They are very good and that is how they beat two premier league sides already but we are ready,” he added.

Magera also underlines the importance of winning the Uganda Cup after a difficult season in the league.

“This is a big club and it is all about winning trophies and this is the only chance we have to win silverware,” Magera asserts.

The hosts are still without injured Ettiene Katenga but have Mustafa Mujjuzi and Sadat Anaku back.

A decent win over the Fufa Big League side will be the target to ensure the final is reached as the clubs aims to win their first trophy since 2019.
