St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde joins Amus College, Kibuli SS and Seeta A Level campus among the successful boys’ teams to represent Uganda at this year’s FEASSA Games in boys' basketball due in Kakamega city, Kenya.

2025 USSSA Basketball (5X5):

Quarter-final (Boy):

  • St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde 38-26 Buddo SS

St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde confirmed itself among the four schools that will represent Uganda at this year’s FEASSA Games in boys’ basketball due in Kakamega city, Kenya.

This followed a resounding 38-26 victory over Buddo Secondary School during the quarter final of the 2025 USSSA Ball Games one at the lavish Amus Courts.

Tchut Agok, Wal Wakow, Lueth Maker Nyok, Mawing Machuor, Joseph Ngaya, captain Malcom Omondi, Cyrus Manyal, Daudi G and others were some of the key figures in St Cyprian High School victory.

“We had a collective display and managed to perform well as a unit. I am so happy for the team. The target is to perform well in the FEASSA Games” team skipper Omondi remarked.

They join Amus College, Kibuli SS and Seeta A Level campus among the successful boys’ teams.

In the other boys’ quarter finals, Kibuli SS edged Hope SS (Watoto) 32-29 and Seeta A-Level Campus won the derby duel over Seeta Mbalala 37-32.

The final contest in the quarters had Amus College triumph 38-21 over a hard-fighting Seroma Christian High School.

That said, the semi-final menu for the boys has Amus College against Seeta A-Level campus at 8 am on court 3 whilst Kibuli SS will take on St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde at 8:45 am on court 2.

Girls:

For the girls’ quarter finals; St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende overcame Seroma Christian High School 27-20, St Noa Girls Zana humiliated Elite High School 49-09, Kibuli SS defeated Ndejje SS 37-20 and Nabisunsa Girls School came top of Seeta Mbalala 47-18.

The semi-final match up for the girls has St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende against Kibuli SS at 8 am on court 1 while at the same time, St Noa Girls School Zana will face Nabisunsa Girls School on court 2.

The respective finals per gender will then come up shortly to crown the championship prior to the official closing ceremony at Bukedea stadium.

Besides basketball 5X5, there was the shorter 3X3 version, tennis, hockey, table tennis, rugby 15’s, badminton, handball U-16, volleyball U-16 and netball U-16.

  • St Noa Girls School Zana Vs Nabisunsa Girls School (8 am) – Court 2
