Dixon "Bond" Adol Okello on duty at 5th July Stadium Algiers

Three Ugandans Dixon “Bond” Okello Adol, Ahmed Hussein and Leilah Nankya were appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to oversee key operations during the CAF engagements in the inter-club finals.

FIFA and CAF certified security & safety official Okello joins the FUFA communications director Hussein, FUFA events manager Nankya for the appointments.

Okello will oversee safety and security for the CAF TotalEnergies Champions League final 2nd leg between Pyramids FC of Egypt and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in Cairo on 1st June, 2025.

Mamelodi Sundowns is home to former Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango Masinde.

This is a great platform for Okello who is arguably among the continent’s finest officials in stadium safety and security operations prior to, during and after high profile matches as the grand finale.

Nankya, a vastly experienced person in events and management will be in charge of guest management.

Swift communications guru Hussein will serve as media officer for the CAF TotalEnergies Confederation Cup final 2nd leg between RS Berkane and Simba SC in Zanzibar on 25th May, 2025.

Simba is current home to Uganda Cranes forward Steven Desse Mukwala.
