Match day 27 of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League was completed on Sunday, 1st June 2025 at various playgrounds across the country.
A total of nine (9) goals were scored in the four physically played games with one match (Ntugasaze versus Booma) not played.
Following a string of unconvincing results, Gaddafi Football Club returned to the desired trajectory, the winning path.
This followed a hard-fought 2-0 home victory over Arua Hill at the Works playground in Entebbe in a duel watched by FUFA competitions director Hajjati Aisha Nalule.
Veteran forward Frank Kalanda came off the bench to put Gaddafi in the head on 82 minutes.
Kalanda headed home a spilled ball from substitute goalkeeper Salim Wekiya who had moments earlier replaced Mike Amori.
Five minutes later, Yasir Mugume,also another substitute scored the winner inside the goal area off an inviting out of the foot assist from Samuel Kawawa Junior to give the Entebbe based club the maximum points.

Calvary Football Club ascended to the summit with a a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Kaaro Karungi at the Midigo playground in Yumbe, West Nile.
Christopher Agotre, Simon Peter Odeke, and Junior Emmanuel Ojok found the back of the net for Calvary.

Away in Bukedea district, at the Kongunga playground, a 10-man MYDA overcame visiting Blacks Power 1-0.
Eric Kamuhanda scored in the 51st minute before he was sent off with 9 minutes to play.
Blacks Power fell for the fourth consecutive time this season as they drop to 5th on the table standings with 42 points.
Consequently, MYDA jumped out of the relegation red zone to 11th with now 29 points.
In Arua, Onduparaka condemned Kigezi Home Boyz with a 2-1 win at the Aba-Bet Green Light Stadium.

Junior Andama and Dominic Abonga scored in the 32nd and 33rd minutes respectively.
Onduparaka who are christened as the Catarpillars thus climbed to 6th with 37 points off 26 matches played.
The game between Ntugasaze and Booma that was supposed to be played at the Mityana Ssaza ground did not take place after Booma failed to travel.
The FUFA competitions committee will pronounce self on the decision to be taken.
Ntugasaze’s Lawrence Kambugu and Lawrence Olaboro of Calvary are the joint top scorers in the league with 12 goals apiece.
Three top clubs will earn promotion to the Uganda Premier League whilst the bottom four clubs shall be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
The FUFA Big League is the feeder to the main Uganda Premier League.
