JT Jaguars secured a well-deserved victory, defeating the KCCA Panthers 79-62 in a National Basketball League encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Sunday.
It was a challenging weekend for the Panthers, who also lost to the Kampala Rockets on Friday.
The Jaguars took an early lead, finishing the first quarter ahead by seven points, at 18-11.
Although the Panthers showed improvement in the second quarter, they still trailed by eight points going into halftime.
After the break, the Jaguars extended their lead to 12 points, finishing the third quarter with a score of 53-41.
Aaron John Eboyu capped off the game with a long-range shot, sealing the 17-point victory for the Jaguars.
Peter Sifuma stood out with a dominant performance in the paint, recording a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Stanley Mugerwa led the scoring with 15 points, followed by Gaius Mahamba with 11 points for the Panthers.
