The annual German Cup returns with the 16th edition between 16th and 21st June 2025 at the Works Playground in Entebbe Municipality.
This sports tournament is organised by Victorian High School, Entebbe.
It brings together all secondary schools in Entebbe Municipality and the surrounding areas with action in Football, Netball, Catchball, Volleyball and Rugby.

Each year, over 20 schools from Entebbe and Wakiso get involved, and it’s the second most popular sports tournament in Entebbe after the USSSA championship.
The theme for this year’s championship is “Education and Sports for Life, a Legacy of Hope Beyond Loss”
“For the past three years, we have been celebrating our loved ones that we lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have done this in a number of ways but notably through sports because we know that sport unites many of us,” says Robert Ngudo, Director of Victorian High School.
This year, awareness is on two major diseases (COVID and HIV/AIDS); used as a platform to create awareness, intertwining education with health and sports.
Alongside that, there have been events like candle lighting, blood donation, aerobics, counselling and health checkups for the participants.
