KIU Rangers secured a 76-73 victory against Miracle Eaglets in the National Basketball League at YMCA Court on Wednesday.
Sharon Kirabo was instrumental in the Rangers’ win after dropping 23 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.
Elizabeth Akol (17 points) and Racheal Nanyonga (12 points) came in handy, contributing for the Rangers in double digits.
Mariam Namukwaya (22 points), Winfred Akello (15 points), and Esther Loki Mpongo (15 points) scored in double figures for the Miracle Eaglets.
It was an even opening period as both sides tied 16-16 before the Rangers opened up an eight-point (36-28) lead going into the halftime break.
Racheal Nanyonga’s layup concluded the third period as the Rangers trailed by 12 points (42-54).
Aguti was perfect on the line to level matters (66-66) at the death of the fourth period before securing a three-point (76-73) victory.
