“I was inspired to bring Quadball to Kenya after discovering it in Uganda. I shared the idea with Bosy Odera, now the President of the Quadball Federation of Kenya, who enthusiastically embraced it. Since then, we have made remarkable progress.” testifies Mugote, a former goalkeeper.

Our team has grown to over 30 players, and we are eagerly anticipating their participation in the World Cup in July. This presents a fantastic opportunity for Kenyan players to represent their country on a global stage. Beyond the World Cup, our goal is to popularize Quadball across Africa. We are in close communication with Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda to promote the sport and establish national and regional competitions in the near future. Additionally, we’re working to establish the Kenya Quadball League, where clubs from across the country can compete. This will not only raise the profile of the sport but also provide a platform for talented players to shine. Furthermore, we are committed to developing the next generation of Quadball players. We are excited to involve youth in the sport… as we’ve received international invitations for Under 17 and Under 15 tournaments, including an upcoming event in Switzerland in August 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for our young players to gain global experience and compete against the best in the world.
