Uganda’s squad for the 2025 Rugby Africa Men’s 7s in Mauritius was named on Tuesday morning, with the team set to jet out on Wednesday.

Tolbert Onyango, the man in charge of the team, made just one change from the squad that won the inaugural Kampala International 7s, which he used as preps for the continental championship, earlier this month.

Alex Aturinda, the skipper of the side, replaces Patrick Okello for the tournament to be played at the Labourdonnais Sports Club in Mapou, Mauritius, from June 21-22.

Uganda is in Pool A with Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and neighbours Kenya.

The tournament will be streamed on Rugby Africa YouTube and Facebook, and Rugby Pass.
