As the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League season comes to an end, management of Paidha Black Angels Football Club hired Charles Livingstone Mbabazi for the final two games.
Playing a behind-the-scenes role, Mbabazi engineered a 2-1 home win over Kiyinda Boys at the Bar Okoro stadium.
“I am not the head coach but just assisting the club (Paidha Black Angels) in their final two matches,” Mbabazi confessed to Kawowo Sports.
He is also expected to assist the club in their final away duel against Calvary at the Midigo Primary School Playground in Yumbe district.
Mbabazi has been unattached since parting ways with Mbarara City at the end of the 2024-2025 UPL season.
Calvary has 49 points and only needs a draw to secure promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
Currently on 46 points, Paidha Black Angels need maximum points to regain their slot back in the UPL.
Other matches:
Second-placed Buhimba United Saints (also on 49 points) visit Kiyinda Boys at the Barthelam City Sports Ground in Kiwenda.
Kiyinda Boys is safe with 36 points and will merely be playing for pride.

On 47 points, Gaddafi travels to Mbale to face Kataka (36 points).
Under the management of Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC), Gaddafi requires maximum points with Kataka wishing to end the season on a high note at home.
In Lira city, Blacks Power (46 points) will host relegation fighting Busoga United (30 points).
Blacks Power needs maximum points to be assured of progress to the Uganda Premier League with Gaddafi failing to win.
In Masindi, Arua Hill, currently 14th with 29 points, takes on already relegated Booma at the Masindi municipal stadium.
In Ntungamo at the Kyamate stadium, Kaaro Karungi (31 points) will clash against Ntugasaze (36 points).
Kigezi Home Boyz (30 points) will play host to MYDA (32 points) at the Kigezi Home Boyz Al Stadium in Kabale.
A brand new trophy awaits the champion of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League (Uganda’s second-tier football league).

Relegation fight:
The fight against relegation from the FUFA Big League is also serious.
Four clubs will be relegated, with Booma already confirmed.
That means three clubs will definitely join Booma in the drop zone to the respective regional league.
Arua Hill (29), Kigezi Home Boyz (30), Busoga United (30), Kaaro Karungi (31) and MYDA (32) are all involved in this fierce battle against relegation.

With this tight race for the title,
Which playing will the trophy be on that last game day?.
