KCCA Football Club officially announced Jackson Magera Kaddu and Brian Ssenyondo as co-coaches for the senior men’s team.

The two coaches will commence work in preparation for the new season, effective immediately.

“This strategic decision highlights the club’s obligation to build a strong technical bench that combines experience, tactical skill, and a profound understanding of the game,” a club statement read.

Magera is a familiar and respected figure within the KCCA FC household, having served in various capacities, including National Team U-15 and U-17 Head Coach, the KCCA Soccer Academy Head Coach, Senior Assistant Coach, and Interim Head Coach.

“His (Magera) understanding of the club’s DNA will be instrumental in this new role,” the statement added.

Ssenyondo also has a proven track record and success in Ugandan and international football.

He won the Stanbic Uganda Cup with Kitara and guided the Uganda Cubs (national U-17 team) to the FIFA World Cup.

“His (Ssenyondo) fresh perspective is expected to supplement Magera’s foundational understanding of KCCA Football Club. KCCA FC looks forward to a successful tenure under the guidance of Co-coaches Magera and Ssenyondo and wishes the pair all the best,” the statement concluded.

KCCA Football Club was founded in 1963. They have 13 Uganda Premier League trophies to their name tag with the latest triumph coming in the 2018-2019 season.

They have 10 Uganda Cup titles, 6 FUFA Super Cup and 2 CECAFA clubs’ championships.
