Co-coach Fred Muhumuza is confident with his troops as Uganda Cranes continue to prepare for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
After five days of non residential training, Muhumuza is confident that his side is in good shape and will attain success.
“Today was another day of training and we are still doing conditioning,” Muhumuza said.
“The boys are responding well after the break they had when the season ended. There are positive and the team is improving every day,” he added.
The 41-man squad will continue with the non-residential training session before the actual final squad is confirmed.
Uganda is pitted in Group C alongside Niger, Guinea, Algeria, and South Africa.
Uganda has never advanced beyond the group stage in any previous editions, which places a significant burden on the team to finally overcome this challenge.
