All top performers during the prize giving ceremony at Uganda Golf Club

The lush greens of the par 72-Uganda Golf Club were abuzz with excitement as over 100 golfers competed in the prestigious Stanbic Bank half – year mug of mugs championship.

The mid-year showdown marked a thrilling culmination to the January–June leg of the monthly mug series, drawing together top amateur golfers for an unforgettable sporting experience.

The day-long tournament was organized under Stanbic Bank’s flagship sponsorship.

It showcased high levels of competition and camaraderie as the players  battled it out to the final hole, vying for supremacy in an event that has become a highlight on Uganda’s golfing calendar.

Speaking during the prize-giving ceremony at the iconic 19th Hole, Stanbic Bank’s Head of Coverage, Sam Bulenzi, praised the golfers for their sportsmanship and resilience throughout the day.

The evening celebration was elevated by a soulful performance from the renowned Black Roots Academy of Soul, led by legendary musician Tshaka Mayanja.

Their electrifying show lit up the night and added a celebratory vibe to the culmination of the day’s contest.
