Alton Basketball Academy has decided to take their summer camp to Mombasa, Kenya.
In the bid to grow basketball talent in the country, Alton Basketball organises a summer camp every year to expose their troops to greater heights in the game.
In a press conference held at Fairway Hotel, Kampala the Academy director, Alton Assimwe, underlined that the main reason for such camps is exposure.
“Mombasa academies have academies have good competition and we hope to learn a lot from them,” he said.
“We have organised a three-day camp followed by a film session, a practice game before a two-day tournament that will wrap it up,” he added.
The academy holds its training at the French School of Kampala in a bid to improve talent and groom tomorrow’s stars of the game.
