In preparation for the 2025 MTN Busoga Masaza football championship, Butembe Ssaza has confirmed the appointment of Isaac “Ozil” Kitakule as their head coach.
The unveiling was done by CEO Salmin Saleh at Bombay Magic in Jinja city.
This is the second time that Kitakule is head coach of this team after handling the team last season before he laid down the tools.
He will be assisted by the Isaac entity of Wahampi and Mugabi as first and second assistants respectively.
“It is a big moment to return to Butembe Ssaza as head coach. I am honoured to serve. Together with my support staff, we are ready for duty” Kitakule who is also head coach of Jinja Comprehensive school stated.
Other members of the coaching staff:
Shafic Kiiza is the team trainer, Alamazan Kagawa will handle goalkeeping coaching duties and Farida Mutesi as statistician.
The others are Innocent Kirunda (team doctor), Sharif Musana (field manager) and Ibra Muyinda as equipment manager.
The official opening match will be played on 28th June 2025 between hosts Budiope take on Bukono at Irundu Primary School in Buyende District.
