FUFA on Saturday passed a 39.6 Billion budget during the 101st Ordinary General Assembly convened at Hoima Resort Hotel in Hoima City, Kitara Region.
The budget estimates were presented by FUFA Finance Director Julian Namuganga Bbosa to the delegates who compose the Assembly.

The budget read showed both the income generating streams and the areas of priorities FUFA intends to fund in 2026.
The biggest revenue stream for the budget will be funding from the Government of Uganda to the tune 17 billion shillings, translating into 43% of the budget.
The other sources include FIFA and CAF grants, sponsorships plus other sources.
The breakdown is as below:
FIFA – 8.8 Billion Shillings
CAF – 2.2 Billion Shillings
Government – 17 Billion Shillings
Sponsors and Partners – 7.3 Billion Shillings
Other Sources – 4.2 Billion Shillings
Namuganga highlighted that main drivers of the budget are mainly under two pillars of FUFA namely Governance and Sport.

SPORT DRIVERS
-The FUFA Technical Master Plan
-East Africa PAMOJA (AFCON 2027)
-Stakeholders (Welfare, Medical Insurance, Equipment and Budget Support)

The forecast expenditure is aligned to the different FUFA directorates and departments such as competitions, Governance, Communications, marketing, national teams among others.
National Teams are expected to consume the biggest chunk of the cake, taking 35% of FUFA’s expenditure.
The total budget forecast for next year according to Namuganga is 48.6 Billion Shillings with priority expenditure taking 39.6 billion while the unfunded priorities at 9 billion shillings.
