The third edition of the K&K Invitational Pro-Am golf tournament will take center stage on Saturday, 12th July 2025 at the MaryLouise Simkins Memorial Club in Namulonge.
This championship will witness professionals gel with the amateur golfers.
The tournament is an initiative of two home grown professionals Marvin Kibirige and James Koto with the objective of growing the numbers of members.
“The K&K invitational golf tournament targets growing the numbers of members at the MaryLouise Simkins Memorial Club, Namulonge by making the club get back it’s name of home of Ugandan golf building connections” Kibirge confesses.
In this particular event, the professionals will be playing with the amateurs in the same group and it will be based on individual performances.
The green fees are fixed at Ug.Shs 50,000 per person with the collections geared towards supporting the junior programs at the club.
“We expect a big number of participants and expect fun golf” Kibirige adds.
There will be prizes to the top performers in the different playing groups per gender at the end of the championship with a decent 19th hole experience where the dress code will be white with a touch of colour.
There are also side-bet rewards for the longest drive and nearest to the pin contest for either gender.

The professionals will play for a total kitty of Ug.Shs 6,000,000.
