Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango has joined the Uganda Cranes technical team preparing for the CHAN tournament.
The former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper and captain has offered to offer support to the goalkeeping department ahead of the global showpiece.
The announcement was brought to the public via FUFA’s official social media platforms.
“Former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper and Denis Onyango has graciously offered to support the CHAN squad’s goalkeeping department,” the statement partly reads.
Onyango is great figure and his presence in the camp will be very vital as Uganda Cranes seek to end the poor performance in CHAN.
The legend will work with Joel Mutakubwa (BUL), Crispas Kusiima (Kitara), Denis Kiggundu (Vipers SC), Hannington Sebwalunyo (NEC) who have entered the residential camp.
