Ronald Ssekiganda has finally completed his transfer to Rwanda’s giants APR FC.
The deal has been in the pipeline for over six months now but finally got done with the club unveiling the midfielder on Thursday.
Ssekiganda who captained SC Villa last season left the national team camp as they prepared for the TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) with his place taken by Shamir Kimwero.
At APR, he joins compatriots Hakim Kiwanuka and Denis Omedi who signed for the club in January.
He also follows in footsteps of other Ugandan players who played for the club especially in the early 2000s including Phillip Ssozi, Hassan Mubiru and Alimansi Kadogo among others.
