Rezlife Saints secured a 63-46 victory against Victoria Crocs in the National Basketball League at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Sunday.
This was the ninth victory for the Lubowa based side with three games left in the ongoing regular season.
Akena Desire led the Saints scoreboard dropping 16 points and making 11 rebounds in a double double.
In the same spirit, Micheal Otieno turned up for the Saints with a double-double scoring 13 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
On the other hand, David Mayom (11 points) and Joshua Maiba (14 rebounds) reached double digits for the Crocs.
Ronald Muwanguzi’s layup concluded the first quarter as the Crocs trailed by six points (17-11) at the end of the period.
David Mayom’s long shot beyond the arc concluded the second period as Crocs took a two-point lead into the halftime break.
Coming from the long break, Saints limited the Crocs to only four points as they opened an 11-point (46-35) lead.
Despite the late fight from the Crocs, the Saints ran away with a 17-point victory on the day.
