3×3 Basketball: St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde boys’ team secures FEASSA berth

St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde boy’s basketball team in the 3X3 version has qualified to the 2025 East African Games (FEASSA) due in Kakamega city next month.

This followed a comprehensive 21-10 victory over Teso College Aloet in the quarter final duel played at Tororo Girls courts on Thursday, 17^th July 2025.

Christened as the Cyproz, St Cyprian High School 3X3 basketball side joins the 5×5 team who secured their slot last term during the ball games one in Bukedea.

The 3X3 team has been bullish and in demolition mood, having won their entire group B matches to finish top of the pool with maximum points.

They defeated Ndejje SS 13-08, Kira College Butiki (12-07), Seroma Christian High School (7-5) and Busoga College Mwiri (11-03).

The likes of Manyal Chuol Lam, Israel Ngakia Kobo, Malcom Omondi, Ring Ichut Agok Iyiet and Makur Sijin Makeny are the squad players on the 3X3 team in Tororo under head coach John Omondi.

“We give the glory to God for the brave performance that has witnessed us qualify for the FEASSA Games in Kenya. The preparations commence immediately” Daudi Mwasa, games teacher remarked after the quarter final game that ended with a sudden death.

At the semi-final, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde will tussle against Amus College.

Amus College School overcame Holly Cross 21-08 in the last quarter final duel.

Their girl’s team has been less impressive taking the lessons to improve in the subsequent editions.
