In the bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the CAF Champions League, Vipers have put both hands in the market searching for experience and quality.
Uganda Premier League side, Vipers SC has confirmed the signing of Nigerian winger Odili Chukwuma in the ongoing transfer window.
Chukwuma joins the Kitende-based side from Rwanda Police on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at St Mary’s Stadium until 2027.
The development has been announced today Thursday, July 17 via the club’s official website.
“Uganda Champions Vipers SC have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Nigerian winger Odili Chukwuma,” the statement partly reads.
Speaking to Vipers media, Chukwuma revealed that he is eager to achieve great things with the club.
“I have been hearing about Vipers SC and now that I have joined, I’m happy to be here,” he stated before adding; “By God’s grace, we will achieve great things. I will do my absolute best for the club.”
He becomes Vipers’ fourth addition following Mark Yallah, Enock Ssebagala, and Kevin Dasylva Bady.
