Girls U-18:
- Racheal Laura Natukunda (Uganda) – 88, 93
The second round of the 2025 ISF World school golf championship continued at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam course, Rabat city in Morocco on Thursday, 17th July.
By close of business, the golfers had completed a grueling 36 holes on a championship course.
The two Uganda players in action Damian Asiimwe and Racheal Laura Natukunda continued to play quick catch up to the demands of the course and the swift competition from the world’s finest young golfers.

Assimwe, a student at St Julian High School Gayaza impressive from the 99 gross-mark registered during round one to 88 on day two.
Asiimwe’s score card on day two had an eye-catching birdie on par-5 hole 11.
He recorded par scores on holes 2, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 17 with bogie marks on 1, 4, 5, 9, 13, 14 and 16. He double boogied 6 and 7 with triple bogies on 3 and 18.

Natukunda from Nyakasura School improved on standings from 8th to 7th after round two despite depreciating in form from 88 gross score on the first 18 holes to 93 during the second round.
The Morocco duo of Hicham Rachidi (male) and Sofia Cherif Essakali (female) maintain the top ranked status per gender after two rounds of action.

Uganda’s head coach Isaiah Mwesige maintains that the right attitude of the players has kept them going.
“They (Asiimwe and Natukunda) showed character, discipline, and willingness to keep fighting ” Mwesige who also runs the AFRIYEA Golf Academy program in Fort Portal asserts.
USSSA president Justus Mugisha and executive committee member Richard Muhumuza are also in Morocco.

They will also optimally utilize the course range, practice greens, swimming pool and state of art gym, if needed.
The cultural and nations’ night festivities shall be held on Friday evening.
