Buddo S.S football team edge Tunisian opposition, face Ivory Coast in second duel | 2025 ANOCA School Games

2025 ANOCA School Games:

• Football: Buddo S.S (Uganda) 2-1 Tunisia

Buddo Secondary School football team recovered from a goal down to win 2-1 over Tunisia during the inaugural ANOCA school games in Algeria.

The group C duel played at the Stade Hamlaoui in Constantine city had the Tunisians take the lead through Taboubi Ayhem in the 32nd minute.

Two minutes before the goal, Buddo S.S goalkeeper Adrian Expedito Ssemugera had saved a penalty.

Captain Dickson Barasa led by example with the equalizer off a header following spade work by super subsistute Babi Abdul Shakur in the 53rd minute.

Owen Mukisa made it 2-1 thanks to assist off another substitute Akram Musiitwa.

Uganda will now face Ivory Coast at Stade Hamlaoui on Wednesday evening.

Ivory Coast played to a 1-all draw with Tunisia in Group C’s opener.

Besides football, Uganda is also represented in Swimming, Table Tennis, Basketball (3X3) and Athletics.

Seroma Christian High School won bronze in the girl’s Basketball (3×3).
