In other games during the same pool, Gombe S.S (Uganda) lost 23-29 to Kenya’s Manyatta with another Ugandan side Wampeewo Ntake falling to Kenyan opposition Kimilili.
For men group A; Mbogo and Kamito from Kenya shared the spoils 28-goals apiece.
Kenya’s Highway dismantled Kigoma from Rwanda 30-21 whilst Bombo Army SS (Uganda) won 30-23 over Tanzania’s Kimondo.


Women:
In group A for the women;St Joseph Kitale (Kenya) beat Uganda’s Kibuli S.S 33-25.
Dagoretti (Kenya) lost 20-35 to Uganda’s Kawanda S.S.
For group B; Mbogo (Uganda) beat 32-28 Kadika (Kenya) 32-28; Maweni (Tanzania) lost to Uganda’s Gombe SS 19-46 whilst Moi Kamusinga won over Rwanda’s Nyamagabe 27-16.
On Friday, 15th August 2025 will be the official opening ceremony at the Bukhungu stadium.
