Amus College will battle Bishop Njenga for the bronze whilst Kawempe Muslim tussles against St Noa for gold in Friday’s finale.
2025 FEASSA Games (Girls Football)
Semi-finals:
- Kawempe Muslim SS (Uganda) 4-2 ArchiBishop Njenga Girls SS (Kenya)
- St Noa Girls School Zana (Uganda) 1-0 Amus College (Uganda)
It is either Kawempe Muslim Secondary School or St Noa Girls School Zana that will smile home with gold in girls’ football at the 2025 FEASSA Games.
The two Ugandan schools qualified for the final after Wednesday’s semi-finals played at the outer field of Kakamega High School.
The first semi-final witnessed Kawempe Mulism recover from a goal down to win 4-2 over Kenya’s ArchiBishop Njenga Girls SS.
Skipper Agnes Nabukenya ran the show single handedly for Kawempe Muslim with all the goals to her name.

Brenda Nekesa and Hilder Natecho scored Arch-Bishop Njenga Girl’s two goals in the six goal semi-final duel.
Nekesa gave Arch-Bishop Njenga the lead on 10 minutes.
The lead lasted only 10 minutes with the lethal Nabukenya equalizing as the opening stanza ended 1-goal apiece.
Natecho restored Archi-Bishop Njenga’s lead 9 minutes into the second half.
Nabukenya quickly responded with her second goal two minutes later before completing her hattrick on the hour mark.
Nabukenya then sealed the victory for the Ugandans with a goal deep in added time.
We worked together and had the belief. Even after trailing twice, we remained focused and hard-working to get the desired result. Now looking towards the finale.

The second semi-final had St Noa Girls edge Amus College School 1-0.
Sumaya Nalumu’s decent free-kick eluded the goalkeeper for the all-important goal.

Soccer leads the cast of the disciplines at the FEASSA Games.
The others include Netball, volleyball, handball, basketball, rugby, hockey, athletics, table tennis, badminton, tennis, swimming, goalball (SNE games), chess, scrabble, beach volleyball, beach soccer, lacrosse, DanceSport and cricket.
Lacrosse, beach volleyball, cricket and DanceSport are all making their debut at the games which climax on Friday, 22nd August 2025.
Uganda is the overall defending champions.
