Uganda Premier League side BUL has confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Farouk Yawe.
Yawe joins the Jinja-based side as a free agent having run down his contract at Kitara FC.
The announcement was confirmed via the club’s official website today, Monday August 25, 2025.
“BUL is pleased to announce the signing of Farouk Yawe from Kitara Football Club,” the statement partly reads.
He has previously played for Kitara FC and Luweero United thus acquiring experience in between the posts.
Speaking to BUL media, Yawe expressed his gratitude for joining the new side before appreciating the team’s hospitality.
“I am excited to join one of the biggest clubs in Uganda with experienced coaches and friendly players,” he stated.
“I am here to realise my targets as well as those of the club. I want to take this team back to a continental level and achieve more success,” he added.
