Morocco recovered from a goal down to win the contest 5-3 in post-match penalties after normal time and the added extra 30 minutes had ended 1-goal apiece at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Tuesday night.

Morocco eyes their third title as they take on the tournament dark horses, Madagascar.

Madagascar qualified to their first ever final at the CHAN tournament following a spirited 1-0 win over Sudan in 120 minutes of gruelling football.

Despite playing with 10 men for 40 minutes, including the 30 additional minutes into extra time, Madagascar held their nerves to beat Sudan 1-0 at the Benjamin Mpaka National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Normal time of this first semi-final contest had ended goalless with Madagascar playing a man less after the red card of Fenohasina Razafimaro in the 79th minute for a second bookable offence.

Toky Rakotondraibe scored in the 116th minute to send Sudan crashing.
